Falling in love

It’s very hard to fall in love with someone,  because falling in love with someone, and yet not letting them get to important.

Because the way a Christian falls in love is not like giving them your heart, that’s God’s.  

It’s taking away every single defence in your heart, and giving the other person a gun.  All of your secrets, your fears, all of them, and you have to trust them.  Because that person can either shoot you and break your heart, or they can protect your heart, and keep it from falling apart.
